Today is July 7 of the solar calendar, which is May 23 of the lunar calendar, which is Nham Ngo day, Giap Ngo month, Binh Ngo year.
This is one of the two rare days in 2026 when Vietnamese people experience a period of full Ngo hour (11am-1pm), Ngo day, Ngo month and Ngo year. Previously, June 25th (ie May 11th according to the lunar calendar) was also a Ngo day in the Ngo month of Binh Ngo year.
After this year, it will be until the year of Mau Ngo 2038, that is, 12 more years before this coincidence reappears.

Folk experience suggests that this is the time to pay attention to protecting health by supplementing cooling foods such as winter melon, bitter melon, lotus seeds, limiting the use of overly cold drinks, getting enough sleep and avoiding working outdoors during hot sunny hours to reduce the risk of sunstroke.
For agricultural production, the trial period is a period of hot and humid weather interspersed with heavy rain. People need to strengthen pest and disease prevention, take care of summer-autumn crops and proactively source water for production.
