In 2026, the God of Wealth Day falls on Thursday, the 26th day of the 2nd lunar month (ie, the 10th day of the first lunar month).
According to Vietnamese customs, on this occasion, many Vietnamese families often sweep and rearrange their houses neatly, prepare offerings, arrange offering trays and buy gold to offer, with the desire to welcome good luck, fortune and a prosperous new year. For those who do business and trade, this ritual is even more valued as a wish for smooth business and prosperity.
According to the book "Ancient Vietnamese Prayer", the altar of the God of Wealth is usually placed in the corner of the house. The altar is a small lacquered and gold-plated shrine, inside decorated with the position of the God of Wealth.
In front of the altar is an incense bowl placed on about a hundred gold bars of votive paper, with two small lamps on both sides. Inside the altar, there are also glasses of water, glasses of wine, and a tray of fruits and offerings for worship.

Today is the 10th day of the first lunar month of the Binh Ngo year 2026.
We, the city masters, prepare incense, flowers, offerings, honey, tea, fruits and offerings, and display them in front of the altar to respectfully invite God of Wealth to receive money.
