On August 19, Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc, Chairman of the Trade Union of Mui Ne ward (Lam Dong province) said that the grassroots Trade Union of Nova Phan Thiet Co., Ltd. had just organized a Trade Union Meal for all union members and workers.
157 employees of the company were fed meals with each serving worth 60,000 VND, higher than the usual shift meals thanks to additional funding support from the Trade Union.
Meals are organized right at the unit. Chefs who prepare dishes for tourists daily also directly cook dishes for colleagues. To avoid affecting the operation of the accommodation establishment, workers are divided into many meal shifts.
Leaders of Mui Ne Ward Trade Union and grassroots trade unions sat down to eat and chat with workers. Through conversations at the dining table, the thoughts, aspirations and opinions of union members were shared more openly.

According to Mr. Phuc, tourism is a service industry, requiring workers to always maintain friendliness and enthusiasm when serving tourists.
This is also a strong economic sector of Mui Ne. Therefore, the trade union's care for life and creating more joy will help workers have more positive energy in their work.
Meals are not only an improved meal but also an opportunity for trade unions and workers to get closer to each other, thereby promptly grasping problems arising in work and life.
For those who usually stand behind the front desk, kitchen or service departments to take care of tourists, a meal prepared specifically for them also brings a feeling of being cared for and shared.
From practical care activities such as Trade Union Meals, the trade union organization has an extra way to be closer to accompany workers.
When cared for, there is more joy and motivation, workers will have more energy to do their job well, contributing to maintaining the friendly image of Mui Ne and developing the local tourism industry.
