On June 13, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that a working delegation led by Mr. Doan Van Su - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation cum Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee came to work with a number of grassroots trade unions and visit workers.
The working delegation worked with the grassroots Trade Union of Kim Do Co., Ltd. under Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union in Phan Thiet Industrial Park and the grassroots Trade Union of Hai Nam Co., Ltd. under Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union.

At the units, the delegation listened to reports on the situation of grassroots trade union activities, the implementation of regimes and policies for workers, the employment situation, income and living standards of union members and workers. Many opinions and recommendations from grassroots levels were also recorded for synthesis and consideration in the process of implementing trade union activities in the coming time.
A noteworthy point is that the leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation not only worked with the grassroots trade union executive committee but also directly went to production workshops to meet workers.
Through exchanges, the working delegation learned about working conditions, salary and bonus regimes, as well as difficulties and obstacles that workers are facing.

Direct contact at the workplace helps trade union organizations have more objective and practical information, reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of workers. This is also the basis for trade union levels to propose appropriate care solutions, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, strengthening grassroots work is one of the key tasks to improve the quality of trade union activities.
Through listening to production practices, trade union organizations can promptly grasp the situation, solve arising problems and deploy increasingly practical and effective care activities for union members and workers.
