On August 19, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Van, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Ham Liem commune (Lam Dong province), said that the unit had just coordinated with the Provincial Labor Culture House to organize a 5-a-side men's football tournament for workers and laborers in the area.
The tournament is an activity to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day 2. 9.
Ham Liem commune has many businesses operating in Phan Thiet Industrial Park. Therefore, the tournament attracted 7 football teams from agencies, units, and businesses to participate.

After the qualifying rounds, the Trade Union of Ham Thuan Bac Regional Health Center and the Trade Union of Trans Pacific Seafood Processing Co., Ltd. won the right to enter the final.
In the end, the grassroots Trade Union team of Ham Thuan Bac Regional Health Center won the championship along with the Cup and a bonus of 2.5 million VND. The organizers also awarded second, third, and fourth prizes and 2 individual prizes to players with outstanding achievements.
According to Ms. Van, the tournament not only creates a healthy playground, helping union members, workers and laborers practice health, but is also an opportunity for agencies and businesses to meet, exchange and strengthen solidarity.

From football matches, workers have more opportunities to connect with colleagues in other units. The minutes of playing on the field also help them relieve the pressure after working hours, creating more spirit to return to work.
Over the past time, trade union levels under the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union have organized many cultural and sports activities for union members and workers. Commune and ward trade unions and grassroots trade unions proactively build playgrounds suitable for production conditions, thereby contributing to caring for the spiritual life of workers.
When spiritual life is concerned, workers have more energy, cohesion and motivation to compete in labor and production, contributing to building a united and positive working environment at businesses in the area.
