Previously, on the morning of July 2, hundreds of workers at Long Yi Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., in Sao Vang commune, Thanh Hoa province, collectively stopped working to petition about some welfare regimes.

According to a representative of the Sao Vang Commune Trade Union, workers mainly wonder about some contents such as salary increases, overtime pay, gasoline support and insurance regimes.

Representatives of Sao Vang Commune Trade Union added that currently Long Yi Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. has about 700 workers. By the morning of July 3, union members and workers had arrived at the company to work normally.
