For nearly 8 years, along with focusing on developing production, Viet My Binh Dinh Production and Trading Company Limited has always paid special attention to caring for the lives and development of the workforce.
In particular, the company focuses on training and improving the skills of workers, especially for older female workers - who often have difficulty accessing job opportunities.
Ms. Truong Thi Giang Hien (52 years old, residing in Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district, Binh Dinh) is one of the workers who has been with the company for more than 7 years. For her, this is not only a workplace but also a place that has given her the opportunity to learn and develop herself.

"Every year, the company opens vocational training classes for workers. This is extremely necessary, especially for older workers like me. When I first started working, I was over 45 years old - the age when many places no longer wanted to recruit me.
I have no experience, I don't know if I can keep up with the work or not. But the company has created conditions to do their best and train me well so that I can quickly get into the rhythm of the work. The valuable thing is that during my vocational training, the company still pays me my full salary, helping me feel secure in my work and stay long-term," Ms. Hien shared.
Not only Ms. Hien, many other workers are also given opportunities to develop their skills. Ms. Hoang Thi Giang (45 years old, residing in Phuoc My commune, Quy Nhon city) every year attends all skills training classes of the company.
"Thanks to the training courses, I can now be in charge of important stages such as drilling, machining and operating laser cutting machines. The work became more smooth, without taking too much labor, helping me to relieve the hardship a lot", Ms. Giang expressed.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Viet My Binh Dinh Production and Trading Company Limited - said that in order to ensure that workers' skills are always improved, every year, the company coordinates with the Binh Dinh Economic Zone Management Board to organize systematic training classes.
"When the skills of workers are improved, the quality of products is also improved, meeting the strict requirements of customers in the current context of fierce competition. Not only focusing on professional skills, we also hope that each employee will enhance their sense of responsibility, connect with colleagues to develop together, helping the company become stronger and stronger," said Ms. Nhung.
In addition to vocational training, the company always pays attention to workers' lives. "Currently, the company has 180 employees, of which 35 are over 40 years old. In addition to ensuring stable income, the company also regularly organizes support activities and gives gifts to workers during holidays and Tet.
In the near future, on March 8, the company plans to give a gift of 200,000 VND in cash to all female employees, this is a word of encouragement, to give everyone more motivation to stay with the company for a long time", Ms. Vo Thi My Dung - Deputy Head of Human Resources Administration Department - shared.
