Workers' initiatives help businesses optimize production
Responding to the emulation movements launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, especially the program "3 million initiatives, efforts, overcoming difficulties, creativity, determined to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic", businesses in Binh Dinh province have actively implemented and mobilized workers to participate.
The program creates a playground for workers to freely create, promote initiatives, and improve techniques to improve labor productivity. Thanks to that, many practical initiatives have been applied, helping businesses optimize processes, reduce costs and improve production efficiency.

At Viet My Binh Dinh Production and Trading Company Limited (Viet My Company), located in Long My Industrial Park (Quy Nhon City), many initiatives of workers have been welcomed, praised and applied by the enterprise in the production of tables and chairs made of plastic and wood.
A typical example is Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay (37 years old) - Director of a finished product workshop and wood workshop, Viet My Company - a typical example with initiatives to help the company optimize human resources and improve labor productivity.
With many years of experience, Ms. Bay has proposed improving the production process of "bad guys" - a detail in table and chair products. "For example, previously, the wood workshop could only produce 500 "bests" per day, but after the renovation, it could produce 1,000 "bests" per day," said Ms. Bay.
In addition, Ms. Bay also has many proposals to help shorten production time, reduce costs while still ensuring product quality. In recognition of this contribution, the company awarded her the "Initiative Star" award worth 20 million VND.
"The company always creates conditions for workers to freely create, especially with a value reward policy to encourage brothers to contribute ideas. I am very happy that my initiative has brought practical results, helping the company improve production productivity," Ms. Bay shared.
Enterprises save nearly 100 million VND/year thanks to workers' initiatives
According to Ms. Vo Thi My Dung - Deputy Head of Human Resources Administration Department of Viet My Company, since 2023, Ms. Bay's initiative has been applied in practice, helping businesses save production costs by nearly 100 million VND per year.
"Ms. Bay is a typical example, always making important contributions to production activities. Ms. Bay's good initiatives have helped the company reduce labor costs, improve production efficiency, thereby having more funding to improve wages and bonuses for workers," said Ms. Dung.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Viet My Company - affirmed that the initiatives of the working group play a very important role in the development of the enterprise.
"They are the ones who directly create products, so their initiatives will bring practical results in production, help businesses improve quality, reduce product costs, and enhance competitiveness in the market," said Ms. Nhung.
Ms. Nhung said that to promote creativity, every year the company organizes initiative competitions with valuable cash rewards. This is to encourage workers to fully develop their creativity, creating motivation for them to stay with the enterprise for a long time.
