On January 11, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Huyen - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector of Quang Binh - said that in 2024, the Trade Union of the sector has proactively grasped the living and working conditions of workers, especially workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) in difficult circumstances.
The Union has supervised the implementation of policies and insurance types, resolved difficulties and problems in implementing the policies, and ensured the rights of workers.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 and "Workers' Month" 2024, the industry's trade union organized visits and presented nearly 700 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those who had work-related accidents or serious illnesses, worth over 450 million VND. Supported the construction and repair of 2 "Union Shelters" for union members in difficult circumstances, worth 60 million VND.
In addition, the industry's trade union has organized and implemented well emulation movements, focusing on the movements "Good workers, Creative workers", "Green, clean, beautiful - ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; the movement "Quang Binh Trade Union emulates following Uncle Ho's teachings"; "Exemplary implementation of discipline, administrative discipline, building a cultural and civilized lifestyle"; the movement "The entire agricultural sector joins hands to successfully implement the Industry Restructuring Project associated with building new rural areas"; the movement to respond to OCOP products; the movement against plastic waste, etc.
