At about 4:50 p.m. on April 6, a major fire broke out at a woodwork paint spraying workshop in village 4, Thach Xa commune (Thach That district, Hanoi).
According to witnesses, the fire flared up fiercely from the factory area, accompanied by a column of smoke tens of meters high. People quickly called the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police mobilized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene with local people to put out the fire.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Giang (local resident), the place where the fire broke out was the paint spraying workshop. At the time of the fire, the factory was closed because today was a day off.

According to an officer at the People's Committee of Thach Xa commune, by around 6:30 p.m. the fire was completely extinguished, the fire did not cause any damage to people or property, and is being counted. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
