After the event at Tra Vinh Vocational College on the evening of September 24 and the evening of September 25, at Ty Bach Company Limited, Binh Minh Industrial Park, the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) organized a Mid-Autumn Festival for 320 children of workers and union members of enterprises in the area.
In the bustling atmosphere, children enjoyed vibrant lion dances, the scenery of Uncle Cuoi - Sister Hang, playing together and receiving warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival gifts.
On this occasion, the organizing committee awarded 10 scholarships to students who overcome difficulties, are good at studying, and are motivated to strive to improve their lives in their studies and daily lives.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit has mobilized the participation and contributions of local businesses to accompany the organization of the program, giving gifts and scholarships to the students.
The program not only brings the joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival to children, but also affirms the concern and sharing of the trade union organization and the business community for the children of workers and laborers.
This activity also creates opportunities for workers and enterprises to exchange, connect, and encourage each other to actively participate in union activities and accompany enterprises in production development.
"In the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to coordinate to organize many programs to care for children, especially paying attention to disadvantaged cases in remote areas, helping them play, study and motivating parents to work with peace of mind and develop their families," Mr. Linh added.
