Coach Tran Van Sy and his students (including Nguyen Thi Oanh) will practice full-time domestically from now until participating in the 33rd SEA Games. The professional content group trained by Mr. Sy has no plans to train abroad.
Nguyen Thi Oanh is a key player in the long-term average event group. She and some athletes have been training in Tam Dao (Phu Tho) recently. Since the beginning of this week, Nguyen Thi Oanh has returned to practice in Hanoi.
The coaching staff said that the training plan depends on the curriculum of coach Tran Van Sy. From now until the 33rd SEA Games start in 2 months, Nguyen Thi Oanh is expected to continue to accumulate physical strength in a locality outside of Hanoi.
On September 25, Nguyen Thi Oanh was honored to be one of 13 athletes in the sports field participating in the 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025-2030) of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Other athletes on the list include: Tran Thi Ngoc Yen (cloud bridge), Do Thi Anh Nguyet (archery), Trinh Thu Vinh (shooting), Lai Gia Thanh (weightlifting), Nguyen Tan Sang (pencak silat), Nguyen Quang Hai (football), Nguyen Huy Hoang (swimming), Nguyen Thi Thu Thu Thuy (wushu), Pham Thi Hue (rowing), and disabled athletes Le Van Cong, Doan Thu Huyen, Tran Thi Bich Thuy.
