On October 9, a representative of the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in the first 9 months of the year, the Center organized 192 job fairs with 5,900 units, enterprises and 54,378 employees participating.
The Hanoi Department of Home Affairs issued a decision to provide unemployment insurance to 44,948 people with a supported amount of over VND 1,585 billion. 30,013 workers receiving unemployment insurance benefits were consulted and introduced to jobs; 710 people were supported to learn a trade with a support amount of over 2.8 billion VND.
In the first 9 months of 2025, the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs has issued, reissued, and extended labor licenses and certificates of confirmation not subject to labor licenses to 8,009 employees. Of which, newly issued to 4,753 people, extended 1,787 people, reissued 1,115 people, confirmed exemption of 354 people; issued, reissued, and extended business licenses for 49 units; revoked 21 business licenses.
The Hanoi Department of Home Affairs also surveyed and assessed risks of occupational safety and hygiene at a number of affiliated units; coordinated to organize training on occupational safety and hygiene for nearly 500 commune, ward and employer officials, trade unions and those working in occupational safety and hygiene at enterprises. The Department conducted an inspection of compliance with legal regulations on occupational safety, hygiene, and fire prevention for 38 enterprises and construction works.
