Currently, according to regulations, the application for unemployment benefits includes:
1. Original social insurance book (required)
2. Application for unemployment benefits in the form prescribed by the Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
3. Original or certified copy of one of the following documents to confirm the termination of the labor contract or employment contract with the employer.
After leaving a job, employees can request their former company to provide them with the following documents to apply for unemployment insurance benefits according to regulations, including:
- The labor contract or work contract has expired or the work under the labor contract has been completed.
- Decision to terminate employment, Decision to dismiss or Decision to discipline and force termination of employment.
- Notice or agreement to terminate the employment contract or work contract.
Regarding the form and location of application submission, employees can submit their application directly at the Employment Service Center where they register their permanent/temporary residence or submit their application online on the National Public Service Portal at: dichvucong.gov.vn.
Unemployment insurance benefits include:
1) Receive unemployment benefits.
2) Get support, advice and referrals for new jobs.
3) Supported vocational training.
