At the press conference, Minister and Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son said that the Government Party Congress will implement 2 contents.
First, summarize and evaluate the results of the work for the 2020-2025 term, review the leadership and direction of the Government Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; determine the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
Second, discuss and contribute opinions to the draft Central documents to the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The Congress has the theme: "Building a clean and strong Government Party Committee; solidarity, exemplary leadership in science, technology, innovation, digital transformation; accelerating breakthroughs, developing the country quickly and sustainably in the era of rising up, being rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy".
The Congress's motto is: "Solidarity, discipline - Democracy, innovation - Breakthrough in development - Near the people, close to the people".
The 1st Congress of the Government Party Committee, term 2025-2030, with the participation of 453 official delegates representing 209,240 Party members will take place over 2 days, from October 12 to 13 at the National Convention Center.
Minister Tran Van Son stated that in the 2020-2025 term, the Government Party Committee has synchronously and effectively implemented 3 strategic breakthroughs, 6 key tasks, 12 main groups of solutions and achieved many valuable and proud achievements in the context of difficult and challenging situations beyond forecasts.
In which, the effectiveness of the COVID-19 epidemic prevention, control, recovery and socio-economic development is expected to be achieved and exceeded 22/26 main targets; especially the completion of all social targets.
In particular, the "revolution" in arranging and perfecting the organizational apparatus continues to be vigorously implemented, with strong leadership and direction for innovation from awareness and methods, with many breakthroughs.
Accelerate reform, cut administrative procedures, increase decentralization and delegation of authority; resolve and remove difficulties and obstacles for projects with long-standing backlogs.
At the same time, speed up the construction of a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, especially high-speed roads, high-speed railways, urban railways, promote the early construction of nuclear power plants; develop the private economy, science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses 5 years ahead of schedule...
The inspection and supervision work of Party committees and organizations has been promoted and has had many positive changes.
