On August 15, implementing Instruction No. 02/HD-TLD dated July 4, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation coordinated to organize the "Union Meal" program in 2025 at the Scavi Hue Company Branch in Da Nang.
The activity aims to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The program has the participation of 500 workers. Each meal is enhanced in value thanks to support from union financial resources and socialization, with a total cost of more than 15 million VND.
The meal is carefully prepared, ensuring nutrition, food hygiene and safety, and has practical significance in caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers. This is an opportunity for everyone to share warm meals together, increasing cohesion in the group.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation also presented 10 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong - Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation - sent congratulations to all employees on the occasion of National Day 2.9, and expressed her appreciation for their silent contributions to the development of businesses and the city.
Ms. Huong emphasized: Every union meal is not only a sharing of material things but also a heart, a feeling of the union organization for union members and workers. We hope that through these warm meals, the collective bond will be stronger and each person will feel more clearly the care and support of the union.
Through the program, the Da Nang Trade Union continues to affirm its role as a companion, caring for the lives of union members and workers; at the same time, creating opportunities for business leaders to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers, contributing to building an increasingly better working environment.
