On September 20, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized the "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" program in 2026 for union members' children at Alliance One Company (Giao Long Industrial Park). Attending was Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Also attending were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung - Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province; Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Muoi - Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province and leaders of departments and branches.
Participating in the program were a large number of children who are union members, workers and parents. Children participated in many fun activities, experiencing the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere such as the Ong Sao lantern procession, lion dance, art performances, stage performance of the legend of Uncle Cuoi - Sister Hang and breaking the feast.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation said that caring for the material and spiritual life of union members, workers and children of union members is one of the tasks that the Trade Union organization is interested in implementing.
Through the "Mid-Autumn Festival Night", the Trade Union creates a fun and useful playground for union members' children, and at the same time encourages children in difficult circumstances to continue to strive to study and train.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded 100 scholarships (each worth 500,000 VND) and 600 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to disadvantaged and studious children.
The Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation also awarded certificates of merit and flowers to thank units, businesses, and sponsors for accompanying the program, contributing to caring for the spiritual life of union members and workers' children.
The "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" program creates a joyful atmosphere, helping children have another meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival, and at the same time shows the concern of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers' families.
