On June 25, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with CIC Group Joint Stock Company, CIC Kien Giang Construction Joint Stock Company and grassroots trade unions to organize the Ceremony to announce the Decision on recognition and affixing signs to General Confederation-level projects and award Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Nhat Tien said that, authorized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, An Giang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated to organize the Awarding Ceremony for the General Confederation-level project for the CIC Boulevard Project (Residential Area Road No. 2) - a typical project selected in the emulation movement to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
Implementing Plan No. 51 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour on launching an emulation movement to celebrate the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, trade union levels in the province have actively implemented many practical activities, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere among union members and workers.
The emulation movement is not only limited to completing professional tasks but is also concretized by projects, products, and tasks with high socio-economic value, clearly showing the role, responsibility, intelligence and bravery of the working class in the new era.
Through review, selection and proposal from the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has considered and recognized 2 typical projects of CIC Group Joint Stock Company that are eligible to attach building signs to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress. CIC Boulevard Project (Residential Road No. 2) with a implemented value of 128 billion VND, including 95 social housing units and 38 commercial housing units. Rach Gia Agricultural and Seafood Market - Trade Center Residential Area Project (Everich Central) with a implemented value of 106 billion VND, including 30 social housing units and 72 commercial housing units.
Having 2 projects recognized by the General Confederation at the same time is a great honor not only for businesses and grassroots trade unions but also a source of pride for the workers' movement and trade union activities of An Giang province," Mr. Tien emphasized.
Each project carries a very practical meaning, contributing to completing the urban infrastructure system, creating a new face for the Rach Gia central area; and allocating social housing funds to serve low-income people, cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and workers, contributing to the effective implementation of the policy of ensuring social security, helping many families have conditions to stabilize their lives and settle down.
The Provincial Labor Federation highly appreciates the fact that grassroots trade unions have proactively coordinated with business leaders to effectively implement emulation movements such as: "Good labor, creative labor", "Improving productivity, quality, and work efficiency", "Ensuring progress and quality of works", "Promoting initiatives, technical improvements, practicing thrift, and combating wastefulness"...
Through emulation movements, many typical collectives and individuals have emerged, many initiatives and useful solutions have contributed to improving labor productivity, saving costs, and ensuring project progress and quality.
