From July 1, 2025, business households with official business registration are subject to compulsory social insurance.
Accordingly, social insurance institutions actively cover policies to the people. In the Cam Khe area, the grassroots Social Insurance agency strengthens propaganda on new policies.
Closely following the Law on Social Insurance No. 41/2024/QH15, the unit focuses on direct propaganda to business household groups about the rights and responsibilities to participate in compulsory social insurance and health insurance.
The biggest highlight is clarifying that the group of business households with business registration becomes a mandatory participant.
Not only disseminating regulations, insurance officers also directly advise on "5 golden benefits" including sickness, maternity, retirement, death benefits and health insurance.
To reduce financial pressure on business households, the insurance agency guides flexible contribution levels, from the lowest level equal to the current reference level of 2.34 million VND to a maximum of 20 times the reference level.
Household owners can choose to pay monthly, 3 months or 6 months at a time, suitable for actual business cash flow.
According to Plan No. 06/KH-BHXH dated March 19, 2026 of Cam Khe Grassroots Social Insurance, the whole area has 588 households subject to review and mobilization to participate in compulsory social insurance.
To date, 107 households have registered, reaching 18.2%. The goal by the end of 2026 is that 100% of household heads are required to participate according to regulations.
Not stopping at the group of business households, social insurance communication in Phu Tho is being widely deployed to each residential area.
In Hy Cuong commune, the Provincial Social Insurance coordinated with local authorities to organize a conference to propagate voluntary social insurance and self-paid health insurance policies for people, helping many households better understand long-term benefits such as pensions and free health insurance cards when they meet the conditions.
In parallel with direct conferences, Phu Tho is entering a period of strong transformation in social insurance policy communication in the 2026-2030 period.
According to the plan of the Provincial People's Committee, digital platforms such as short videos, infographics, social networks, QR codes, and online consulting will be synchronously applied to reach people and businesses faster and closer.
The province sets a target of 100% of insurance industry officials and collaborators being deeply trained; at least 70% of communes and wards organize direct dialogues and consultations each year.
Propaganda will be designed specifically for each group such as business households, part-time workers, students, and voluntary social insurance participants.
Proactively "going through each alley, knocking on each household", combining the digitization of administrative procedures is helping social insurance policies in Phu Tho not only stop at popularizing regulations but gradually transform them into specific actions.
In the context of expanding coverage according to the goal of universal social insurance, Phu Tho is showing a substantive approach: bringing policies to the grassroots level, helping business households understand correctly, participate fully, thereby ensuring sustainable social security for themselves and the community.
