In April 2026, the socio-economic situation of Phu Tho province continued to maintain a positive trend, the industrial production index increased by over 26% compared to the same period in 2025; total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue increased by over 13%.
From the beginning of 2026 to April 20, total budget revenue in the area reached over 21.8 trillion VND, equal to about 37.7% of the year's estimate.
Investment attraction activities continue to be a bright spot. In the first 4 months of 2026, FDI investment attraction reached over 1.2 billion USD, about 6 times higher than the same period and reached 75% of the annual plan.
Along with that, DDI capital attraction reached over 11.4 trillion VND, equal to 30% compared to the same period and equal to 13.2% compared to the annual plan.
By the end of April 2026, the whole province had 1,850 newly registered enterprises (up 45% compared to the same period) with a total capital of over 16 trillion VND (up 25% compared to the same period).
Regarding disbursement of public investment capital, by mid-April 2026, the total disbursed value reached 2.8 trillion VND, of which disbursement of planned capital assigned in the year reached over 2.79 trillion VND, reaching 14% compared to the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.
Cultural and social fields continue to be concerned and comprehensively implemented. Education, health, and social security are ensured; the health insurance coverage rate is estimated at 93.5%.
Job creation work achieved positive results, contributing to stabilizing people's lives. National defense and security were maintained; social order and safety were basically stable.
The information system for resolving administrative procedures has been effectively deployed, achieving many outstanding results with 95.76% of dossiers submitted online, the rate of electronic result issuance reached 92.44%, dossier digitization reached 92.8%, data exploitation reached 96.85%; the rate of dossiers resolved on time and ahead of schedule according to the "green channel" mechanism reached 100%...
