Commending children of workers with outstanding achievements in Hai Phong

On September 13, at Viet Tiep Cultural Palace, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a Conference to commend children of union members and workers (NLĐ) with outstanding achievements in the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, Hai Phong Trade Union is currently managing more than 648,000 union members, in the past 2025-2026 school year, 1,671 children of union members and workers won prizes at excellent student exams at all levels. Among them, 52 children won national prizes, 1,619 children won city-level prizes.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation praised and congratulated the proud achievements of the children of union members and workers with outstanding and typical achievements in the past 2025-2026 school year. At the same time, he wished the children to continue to strive to train to achieve even higher results in the coming school years.

According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, in recent years, the city's Trade Union levels have done a good job of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, workers and their families, in which caring for the children of union members and workers is a practical work. At the same time, Hai Phong Trade Union always accompanies and supports, caring for the rear, so that union members and workers can feel secure in working and producing, attached to and contributing to the development of the country and the city.

With the high determination of the city in improving the quality of comprehensive education and the quality of specialized education to have more excellent students. In the coming time, the Chairman of the City Labor Federation requested the City Trade Union levels to be more proactive and drastic in taking care of union members and workers' children; closely coordinate with employers to proactively dialogue and negotiate to have more good welfare policies, and further promote activities to care for and support the material and spiritual life of union members and workers...

At the same time, innovate and improve the quality of education promotion and talent promotion activities; promptly detect, support and raise the steps to school for students in particularly difficult circumstances. Create the best conditions for workers to have time and conditions to care for and raise their children, build a prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized family, creating a solid foundation for future generations to develop comprehensively.

Comrade believes that the children commended at the Conference will continue to strongly arouse the spirit of studiousness, will to overcome difficulties, aspiration to rise up to cultivate virtue and train talent for the future career of union members and workers, making positive contributions to the rapid and sustainable development of the city and the country in the new period.
