Accordingly, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation has coordinated with West Coast Fragrance Co., Ltd. (belonging to Phuc Son Industrial Park, Nam Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province) to organize the "Trade Union Meal" program and give gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Attending the program were Ms. Dinh Thi Lua - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province; Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; along with representatives of departments, branches, businesses and a large number of union members and workers.
West Coast Fragrance Co., Ltd. currently has more than 1,000 employees. In recent years, the enterprise has fully implemented regimes and policies for employees, and at the same time paid attention to improving working conditions, improving material and spiritual life, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations.
At the program, leaders of Ninh Binh province and leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation and the company's board of directors had lunch with workers. Meals were prepared to ensure nutrition, food safety and are more valuable than daily meals thanks to support from trade union organizations. Each meal is worth 75,000 VND, 50,000 VND higher than the daily meal. In which, Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation supported 50,000 VND/meal.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation said that "Trade Union Meals" is a practical activity towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), contributing to improving the quality of lunch meals, bringing practical benefits and increasing welfare for union members and workers.
According to the plan, the Provincial Labor Federation will support the organization of 32 "Trade Union Meals" at enterprises with additional support of 50,000 VND/meal. Along with that, the unit will give 1,200 gifts (each worth 800,000 VND) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province.
Improving the quality of lunch meals from trade union financial resources, along with the companionship of businesses and socialized sources, not only contributes to improving working conditions but also creates motivation for employees to feel secure and stick with businesses for a long time. This is also an opportunity for provincial leaders, trade union organizations and businesses to directly meet, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members and employees, thereby building progressive, harmonious and stable labor relations" - Mr. Long shared.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 50 gifts (each worth 800,000 VND) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. West Coast Fragrance Co., Ltd. also presented 20 gifts to workers who are children of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and martyrs on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day July 27, 2026.
