From May 2025 to present, the "Union Meal" program continues to be widely implemented by the Quang Tri Provincial Trade Union at all levels and has received positive responses from union members, workers as well as employers.
According to the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor, the whole province has 59 grassroots unions organizing "Union Meals" with 16,265 union members and workers participating in the benefits.
The value of each meal ranges from 50,000 to 300,000 VND, the total implementation cost reached more than 847 million VND. Of which, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 164.1 million VND, grassroots unions supported 444.8 million VND, and enterprises contributed more than 242.6 million VND.
Notably, many grassroots trade unions organize creative programs, suitable for the characteristics of the unit. The Trade Union of MAG Quang Tri Project and the Trade Union of Hoa Binh Vietnam Tree Organization in Quang Tri organized a "Union Meal" right at the camp for workers; while the Trade Union of TTC International Beer Joint Stock Company organized a program at the high-end resort.
In addition to warm meals, many units also combine meaningful activities such as admitting new union members, giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, celebrating union members' birthdays, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the Trade Union organization.
