On October 12, the Son La Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
The conference was attended by Mr. Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee.
At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Phan Thang An announced the decision of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem - Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, from October 15.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, congratulated Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem on being trusted by the Politburo to be transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee.
At the same time, we believe that Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem and the Party Committee, government and people of Son La province will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, and determination to successfully implement the Resolution of the 16th Son La Provincial Party Congress, building Son La province into a dynamic growth zone of the midland and northern mountainous region.
The Head of the Central Organizing Committee suggested that the new Son La Provincial Party Secretary closely follow the direction of the Central Committee, direct the issuance and implementation of an action program to implement the resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; urgently develop working regulations, arrange cadres after the congress in a democratic, objective, and correct manner, promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and creativity in the Party Committee.
Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem was born in 1968, Tay ethnic group, hometown Tan Van commune, Lang Son province. Mr. Nghiem has a Master's degree in Economics, Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Bachelor's degree in Political Economics, and a Senior Certificate in Political Theory.
During his working career, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem held many important positions: Vice Chairman of Binh Gia District People's Committee (old); Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Secretary of Loc Binh District Party Committee (old); Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Council; Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lang Son Province.
At the 18th Lang Son Provincial Party Congress, he was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
