Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hanh - Vice President of EVNHANOI Trade Union emphasized: "Union Meal is a simple activity but rich in humanistic meaning. This is an opportunity for employees to get closer together, share and connect in the context of many changes in the unit. We hope that from the common meals, the spirit of solidarity and unity will continue to spread, becoming a motivation for all employees to overcome difficulties and complete their assigned tasks well".
At each unit, the "Union Meal" takes place in a warm atmosphere, words of encouragement from the unit's leaders and the union Chairman's team interspersed with delicious wishes and the bustling laughter of employees, creating a close space like a family.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien, a sales staff at Thanh Tri Power Company, shared: "Every day we are busy with work, rarely having the opportunity to sit together together in large numbers. The Union Meal truly brings a sense of connection, helping brothers have more understanding and encouragement for each other in work.
According to the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on implementing the "Union Meal" in 2025, meals are organized to ensure nutrition, food hygiene and safety, with higher costs than usual thanks to the support of the Union. In particular, trade unions at all levels pay attention to units with a large number of workers and difficult conditions, so that all workers can enjoy this practical care.
Not only stopping at improving material life, "Union Meal" also creates a spreading effect on the social responsibility of enterprises, affirming the close concern of the Trade Union organization for workers.
