On May 25, the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) coordinated with the An Giang Provincial Department of Health to organize a health care session for union members and workers on the occasion of Workers' Month. With the theme "Your Health", doctors at An Giang Central General Hospital organized examinations for common diseases, abdominal ultrasounds and provided free medicine to treat common diseases.
Especially through ultrasound, doctors advise and recommend cases that need to go to the hospital for in-depth screening or initial treatment for workers. Through an urgent and active working session, the delegation examined and provided free medicine to more than 100 union members and workers working in Thoai Son district. Including members of the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union and union members and workers of the grassroots Trade Unions of enterprises under the Thoai Son District Labor Federation.
This is the second health care activity in 2025. Previously, on May 17, 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Department of Health of An Giang province to organize health care for more than 300 union members and workers working at An Giang Samho Company Limited, located in Binh Hoa Industrial Park. It is known that the "Your Health" program has been implemented and maintained by the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor for about 5 years. In addition to being examined directly by doctors, workers are also provided with knowledge about health care, disease prevention in reproductive health care, knowledge about family planning, etc.
This is also one of the contents of innovating the practical care for union members and workers at enterprises of the Trade Union organization in Uncle Ton's hometown.
