On the morning of January 31, the Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 organized by the VGCL officially opened, but from the morning of January 30, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Palace was bustling with 124 booths selling essential goods for Tet. Many union members and workers who were given shopping vouchers by the VGCL have started shopping.

Còn bà Trần Kiều Oanh, ngụ phường An Lạc, cho biết con bà là nhân viên Bệnh viện Hùng Vương được tặng phiếu mua hàng Chợ Tết Công đoàn - Xuân 2026, nhưng do bận làm việc nên nhờ mẹ đi mua hàng. Bà chọn nhiều mặt hàng như lạp xưởng, dầu ăn, nước tương, mì chính, bột nêm…, đều là sản phẩm của các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam để sử dụng trong những ngày Tết.
Chia sẻ với phóng viên, bà Trần Kiều Oanh nói: “Không gian tổ chức chợ rất rộng rãi và thoáng đãng, thuận tiện cho người đi mua hàng vì gần ga tàu Metro số 1, vừa có tuyến xe bus đến tận nơi. Tôi rất vui vì con tôi đi làm và được công đoàn tặng phiếu mua hàng, tuy giá trị không nhiều nhưng cũng giúp gia đình có thêm các sản phẩm sử dụng trong ngày Tết, thể hiện sự quan tâm của tổ chức Công đoàn đối với đoàn viên và gia đình họ”.
124 high-quality booths serving union members and workers
Điều đáng ghi nhận là nhiều doanh nghiệp tham gia bán hàng tại Chợ Tết Công đoàn - Xuân 2026 đều đánh giá cao chương trình này và đồng hành hỗ trợ đoàn viên, người lao động. Ông Đặng Hồng Phúc - Giám đốc Công ty TNHH Tapuho Việt Nam - cho biết, Chợ Tết Công đoàn - Xuân 2026 là chương trình mang ý nghĩa nhân văn sâu sắc, giúp đoàn viên, người lao động được mua hàng chất lượng cao với giá giảm so với thị trường. Ngoài việc bán hàng, Công ty TNHH Tapuho Việt Nam còn tặng 200 phần quà (mỗi phần trị giá 500.000 đồng) bằng các sản phẩm chất lượng cao có thương hiệu của Đức cho đoàn viên, người lao động.

Information from the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that after the program was announced, 99 businesses and units registered to participate with a total of 154 booths. Through review, 87 units qualified to participate with 124 booths, including 80 Vietnamese businesses. Among these, there are 14 businesses selling high-quality Vietnamese Goods products, many products certified with ISO quality standards (such as Suca Agricultural Products) and famous regional specialties of units such as: Saigon Food Co.op One Member Limited Liability Company, Satra Food, Miliket, Kinh Do, Binh Tay, Omely, Elmic, Unilever, Suca Agricultural Products Co., Ltd. (Dak Lak), Tri Khoi Agricultural Products Company, Vissan...
The products sold are very diverse, including: ST25 rice, Japonica; Tet jams, tea, coffee, fruit juices, packaged foods (Saigon Co. op), spices, agricultural products that are regional specialties throughout the country, cashew nuts, consumer goods, cosmetics and essential items for life. In particular, the products sold here are all discounted from 10% to 30% compared to the market. In addition, there are also legal advice and social insurance booths for workers.
Workers get closer to Vietnamese goods
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour - said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025, with the aim of organizing rich, practical, and innovative care activities of the Trade Union organization, contributing to bringing a warm and fulfilling Tet to trade union members, workers and families during Tet and Spring, bringing goods and products (goods) of quality consumption of domestic enterprises and units (enterprises) to a large number of trade union members and workers, promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in trade union activities in general, and activities of caring for trade union members and workers in particular, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour has coordinated with partners to organize the "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2025" online program (Program 2025) to sell goods of domestic enterprises with high quality and preferential prices to trade union members and workers.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha, the 2025 Program has attracted the participation of many businesses with nearly 200,000 turns of trade union members supported by the VGCL to buy goods from businesses in the 2025 Program, with a total value of nearly 90 billion VND, which has been recognized and highly appreciated by all levels of government, businesses, trade union members and society.
With the practical results achieved at the 2025 Program, on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the VGCL continues to organize the online "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" Program. And the number of union members and workers supported is 200,000 people (support level of 500,000 VND/person). The total amount of support is 100 billion VND.
According to records of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in January 2026, many units simultaneously organized direct Trade Union Tet fairs, workers' fairs, discount booths, Vietnamese Goods Fairs, Trade Union Supermarkets... with goods being Vietnamese brands in crowded workers' and laborers' areas. Thereby, propagating and promoting Vietnamese products that have been protected by trademarks, stimulating domestic consumption. Booths provide essential consumer goods (mainly Vietnamese goods) to serve union members and laborers with a selling price reduction of at least 10% for each product compared to market prices. And 100% of goods participating in the Tet Market have clear and legal origins, ensuring quality and food safety and hygiene. Goods suppliers must commit not to trade in counterfeit goods, fake goods, poor quality goods, smuggled goods, and at the same time publicly and transparently list prices and sell at listed prices, ensuring consumer rights.
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha said that the organization of Trade Union Tet Markets in 2026 by trade union levels is a specific activity to bring Vietnamese goods closer to workers and laborers, helping people in localities to directly access domestic products with quality and reasonable prices. Through shopping activities, with the support of Trade Union organizations and businesses, it not only contributes to caring for the material life but also improves the spiritual life of union members and laborers.
