On the afternoon of February 11, Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) led a working delegation to visit enterprises and give gifts and encourage workers working at Suoi Dau Industrial Park, Cam Lam district.
At Komega-X Co., Ltd., French Women's Clothing Development One Member Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), Gallant Ocean Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Mr. Phan Thanh Liem gave gifts, visited the labor, employment and production and business situation of the enterprises.
At the same time, Mr. Phan Thanh Liem went down to the production area to directly give gifts to 150 union members and workers working at 3 companies. Each gift was 500,000 VND in cash per union member.
Mr. Liem also encouraged workers at enterprises to actively compete in labor production, accompanying enterprises to strive to achieve growth targets by 2025.
According to Mr. Kim Jeong Bae - Director of Komega-X Co., Ltd., in 2024, due to the impact of the world situation, production and business activities will decrease compared to 2023.
Currently, the company is maintaining jobs for 1,050 workers with an average income of nearly 5 million VND/month. Despite the difficulties, the company, in coordination with the grassroots union, still made efforts to maintain salaries and bonuses for union members and workers during the recent Tet holiday.
This year, in addition to the Tet gifts like previous years, the union gave each member a case of soft drinks to celebrate Tet.
In 2025, businesses are expecting more orders and production activities to pick up again to increase workers' income.
Entering the first working days of the year, 500 workers of French Women's Clothing Development Company Limited (Vietnam) received many new orders with positive signals.
Mr. Vo Son - Deputy General Director of the company informed: "We are recruiting many workers again after a period of heavy impact due to a decrease in orders. In 2025, the group has transferred new orders to organize production, expecting to increase income for workers".
At Gallant Ocean Vietnam Joint Stock Company, 800 workers have been actively working overtime since the beginning of the year. Mr. Leo - representative of the company thanked the provincial and all levels of the Labor Federation for their attention to the company and workers at the beginning of the new year.
Operating in the field of seafood processing, specializing in exporting to the Korean market, in 2025, Gallant Ocean Vietnam Joint Stock Company aims to grow by 10% compared to 2024 and increase worker benefits. In 2024, the average income of the company's employees will reach over 8 million VND. Currently, the company's monthly revenue is about 3 million USD.
“The company is recruiting more workers to meet production requirements. However, recruiting workers is still a common difficulty. Along with competition, we are also improving automation, reducing manual steps to take better care of workers,” Mr. Leo shared.
