According to Mr. Nguyen Van Ba, after Tet, 14 fishing boats exploited tuna have been exported, many other ships will continue to go to sea. Of the 110 tuna fishing ships clinging to the sea through Tet, only 3 ships docked, the rest is expected to return from 10 to 15 lunar calendar.
Most of the boats docked, most of them have gone into order, stable and comply with the regulations on anti -IUU exploitation.
Currently, with the current price of tuna 106,000 - 107,000 VND/kg (type 1), after deducting expenses, many ship owners are profitable. After the proportional division, the labor on the ship is over 10 million VND.
KH 90044 TS of Mr. Tran Huu Dong reached 1.7 tons of tuna after catching the sea. Mr. Dong shared, the price of fish increased slightly, creating motivation for fishermen to continue to reach out and expect a favorable year.
Meanwhile, the captain of the ship 90044 Dr. Tran Huu Dong said that from the New Year until now, the fishing ground in Truong Sa appeared tuna. As Mr. Dong's fishing vessel has exploited 47 tuna.
Thanks to the dense fish streams, some fishing vessels harvest high yields. On average, the output is from 40 to 50 heads/ship, equivalent to 1.2 - 1.5 tons.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Khanh Hoa, right from the beginning of the year, fishermen have reached the sea, up to now, the output of the province has reached more than 7,000 tons.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang - Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the local goal in the coming years is towards seafood export, bringing higher economic value.
