On the occasion of the upcoming Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, on the afternoon of January 31, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee attended the "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" Program and presented gifts to workers in difficult circumstances at Goertek Vietnam Company (Bac Ninh province).
The program "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" is an activity showing the concern of the Party, State, Trade Union organizations and businesses for trade union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year.
At the program, union members and workers participated in many activities such as shopping for essential items to serve Tet at preferential stalls; experiencing the traditional Vietnamese Tet space with to he sculpting activities, Dong Ho folk painting printing, folk games, and banh chung wrapping contests.
Within the framework of the program, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang presented 300 gifts; leaders of Bac Ninh province presented 500 gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Thach Van Chung - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation awarded support for 1,285 train and bus tickets (worth 200,000 VND/ticket) to union members of Goertek Vietnam Company far from home, creating conditions for workers to return to reunite with their families during Binh Ngo Tet.
Speaking at the program, Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai affirmed that in 2025, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, Bac Ninh province still achieved important and comprehensive results in socio-economic fields. In which, Goertek Vietnam Company is a large-scale FDI enterprise, making important contributions to export turnover and industrial development of the province.
Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the Board of Directors and all officials and employees of Goertek Company; and praised the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for proactively advising and organizing the program "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" practically and meaningfully for workers, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity, sharing and good cultural values.
Stepping into 2026 - the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee requested the Board of Directors of Goertek Vietnam Company to continue to pay closer attention to the material and spiritual life of workers; not only ensuring salaries, bonuses, and welfare regimes but also focusing on building a safe working environment, supporting conditions such as housing, playgrounds, and learning conditions for workers' children.
In addition, the Trade Union organization needs to truly be a reliable fulcrum, a bridge to listen to and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, helping workers feel secure in working and production. At the same time, it wishes workers to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, working with a spirit of responsibility and efficiency, and together build Goertek Bac Ninh - Vietnam to become increasingly developed.
Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Bac Ninh province will always accompany and create the most favorable conditions for the investment environment and social infrastructure for foreign businesses, including Goertek Vietnam Company, to develop sustainably.
Along with that, the province will constantly care for and take care of improving the material and spiritual lives of workers, so that every worker working in Bac Ninh feels secure, proud and happy.
