On January 9, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) - and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to encourage the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Le (born in 1950) in the Con Dao special zone (HCMC).
Previously, Ms. Le participated in the resistance war to liberate the nation, and currently resides with her family in Zone 3 of Con Dao Special Zone.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang cordially visited and encouraged the family to strive to overcome difficulties in life, and at the same time presented Ms. Le's family with a gift of cash, a photo of Uncle Ho and a 2026 calendar.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited, encouraged, and presented gifts and calendars to the family of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vien (born in 1944, former political prisoner, wounded soldier); the family of Mrs. Vo Thi Dien (born in 1952, a participant in resistance activities) in the Con Dao special zone.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang and the working delegation, representatives of the Labor Federations of centrally-run cities visited and offered incense to heroic martyrs at cemeteries and temples in the Con Dao special zone.
According to the plan, in the afternoon of January 9, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang will attend and chair the conference to summarize the emulation in 2025, deploy the directions and tasks for 2026 of the Emulation Cluster of the City Labor Federations directly under the Central Government.
At the same time, participating in the activity of giving souvenirs to the Party Committee and the Trade Union of Con Dao Special Zone; awarding the project to build the "Great Solidarity Tree Garden" park to celebrate the success of the Trade Union Congresses of centrally-run cities, to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress; giving gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Con Dao Special Zone.
