New opportunities for Vietnamese workers in the international market

The demand for recruiting workers to work abroad increases at the end of the year, opening up more job opportunities in Japan, Germany and many other markets.

Many orders waiting for labor

Mr. Cao Chi Cuong - Deputy General Director of Vinamex Human Resources Joint Stock Company - informed that in the third and fourth quarters of 2026, the enterprise is in need of recruiting workers for food processing and mechanical processing orders in Japan.

Currently, partners in Japan are bringing quite a lot of orders to Vietnam, so the company is implementing the selection of suitable candidates. Currently, we are preparing a human resource of nearly 100 people, including both men and women, to serve orders in the third quarter and the last months of the year" - Mr. Cuong said.

According to Mr. Cuong, the target audience of businesses is workers aged 18-35. After passing the interview round, workers will be supported and guided to complete their dossiers, including loan procedures if needed. Businesses also support dormitories, travel expenses and Japanese language training, necessary skills for a period of 4-6 months before departure.

Similarly, Mr. Vo Quoc Huy - Head of Recruitment Department of Saindeco Industrial Development Investment Joint Stock Company - shared that the enterprise is planning to recruit about 100-200 workers from now until the end of the year.

Businesses recruit many industry groups in Japan. Male workers can choose jobs such as decoration, interior completion, mechanics, construction; while female workers are recruited into the fields of processing, packaging, agriculture and nursing.

“We are coordinating with the Employment Service Center (DVVL) to open a free Japanese class at campus 2 of the company. After 2 months of study, students will come to the company in Ho Chi Minh City and be supported with travel expenses and entrance health checks. Thereby, creating more favorable conditions for workers who need to work abroad,” Mr. Huy said.

More choices for workers

Not only businesses have recruitment needs, workers are also actively learning about work programs abroad in the last months of the year.

Mr. Duong Si Nhan (Dong Phuoc commune, Can Tho city) shared that after self-researching and listening to advice from businesses, he has identified a number of units for reference.

I see that in the last months of the year, the demand of businesses recruiting workers to work abroad is quite high, this is an opportunity for me. Most units have loan instructions, training and language learning support, so I am quite reassured" - Mr. Nhan confided.

Currently, Mr. Nhan is looking for opportunities to work in Japan in the field related to automobiles, with an expected income of about 30-40 million VND/month. If he is successful in passing the interview round and completing the training period of 4-6 months, he plans to be able to leave the country after Tet.

Recently, at the online job transaction session in the third quarter of 2026 organized by the Can Tho City Employment Service Center, many job opportunities abroad with diverse occupations for workers were recorded.

Ms. Tran Xuan Duyen - Deputy Director of the Can Tho City DVVL Center - informed that the current labor market is undergoing rapid changes in terms of scale, industry structure and requirements for human resource quality. The Job Transaction Session will contribute to connecting labor supply and demand, expanding the recruitment scope beyond the boundaries of each locality; creating conditions for businesses to access human resources in many provinces and cities.

In particular, within the framework of the program, a seminar was also held to introduce programs to send workers to work in the nursing and caregiving industry in the Federal Republic of Germany and Japan.

Integrating this content into the Job Transaction Session is very meaningful. Because the job opportunities of workers today are not limited to a local or domestic area but are increasingly expanding to the international labor market" - Ms. Duyen emphasized.
