Every year, the Trade Union organization also implements many activities to take care of Tet for union members and workers. During the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, union members and workers not only have Tet but also celebrate Tet with many programs, including the Trade Union Year-end Meal. This is an opportunity for workers, trade union organizations, employers, government leaders, and localities to share and confide in each other, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and understanding, thereby building trust and attachment of union members and workers to the Trade Union organization and businesses. The value of meals in the Trade Union Year-end Meal is at least 50,000 VND and at most 100,000 VND/meal from trade union financial sources and value from funding from businesses, local governments or other socialized sources (if any, without limiting value).
Also an activity that brings joy to union members and workers, grassroots trade unions, based on the situation of union members and workers staying at enterprises and localities, not returning to their hometowns for Tet, to organize warm and joyful activities, bearing the Trade Union's imprint. In places with many union members and workers not returning to their hometowns for Tet, grassroots trade unions organize the "Tet not far from home" program or appropriate forms of activities. This activity once again demonstrates the Trade Union organization's concern for union members and workers who continue to work during the Lunar New Year on projects as well as in boarding houses, on projects. Workers are not only cared for materially but also have a spirit of celebrating Tet when the spring atmosphere returns to all parts of the country.
