BIDV Trade Union donates 7 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Quang Tri

Quang Tri - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province has just received 7 billion VND to support the program "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses".

On June 7, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Quang Tri province confirmed that the unit had just received 7 billion VND in support for the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses". This amount was supported by the Trade Union of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) of Vietnam.

Mr. Dao Manh Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, highly appreciated BIDV's timely and meaningful support. This is a practical resource, adding motivation for Quang Tri province to complete the goal of social security, for a better life for the people.

On behalf of the BIDV Vietnam Bank Trade Union, Ms. Hoang Thi Chau Loan, Director of BIDV Quang Tri Branch, expressed her joy at being able to contribute to the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

It is known that Quang Tri province has a total of 7,663 households in need of housing support; including building 4,460 new households and repairing 3,203 households with a total implementation cost of VND 414.06 billion. Of which, the total mobilized budget is 299.898 billion VND, the additional budget needed to mobilize 114.162 billion VND.

Currently, Quang Tri province has been mobilizing maximum resources to support the construction and repair of houses for policy families, poor households, and near-poor households. This is not only a solution to improve living conditions for people but also demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and responsibility of the community in helping those in difficult circumstances.
