The ceremony to announce the Decision to establish 13 grassroots trade unions and admit 1,150 trade union members (phase 2) in 2026 was organized by the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks of Hanoi City at Quang Minh Industrial Park.
Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Dinh Thang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, Chairman of the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks of Hanoi City; Ngo Minh Hoan - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks of Hanoi City; Ngo Thi Lien - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks of Hanoi City; along with members of the Standing Committee, full-time trade union officials, representatives of business leaders and the interim Executive Committee of 13 grassroots trade unions.
The establishment of 13 grassroots trade unions and the admission of 1,150 union members is the result of the process of propaganda, mobilization, the attention and coordination of business leaders as well as the voluntary spirit of joining the Vietnam Trade Union organization of workers.
This activity also continues to affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in gathering and uniting workers; representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
In the coming time, the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks of Hanoi City will continue to promote the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, innovating the content and methods of operation, strongly focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center.
