On the afternoon of July 20, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) and the Can Tho City Social Insurance (BHXH) organized a signing ceremony for the Regulation on coordination of activities to implement policies and laws on social insurance (BHXH), health insurance (BHYT), and unemployment insurance (BHTN), for the period 2026-2028.

According to regulations, the two units will strengthen coordination in directing, guiding and organizing the implementation of policies and laws on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; promote the role of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, and at the same time improve the effectiveness of social security policy implementation of the Social Insurance agency.
The coordination regulations focus on many key contents such as researching and proposing amendments and supplements to policies and laws on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; propagating and disseminating policies to employees and employers; coordinating to organize the implementation of regimes and policies and protect the rights of employees.

In addition, the two units will strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with laws on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; coordinate specialized inspections on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance contributions; resolve complaints and denunciations and handle letters related to the insurance sector.
The content of coordination also includes the implementation of lawsuits against violations of the law on social insurance according to regulations; exchanging information and content to serve management work; developing plans, organizing preliminary reviews and summaries of the implementation of regulations; exchanging information about units participating in social insurance and newly established Trade Union organizations; and coordinating in emulation, commendation and disciplinary action.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation emphasized that this is not only a regular coordination activity between the two agencies, but also an affirmation of the determination to accompany in implementing social security policies, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
According to the Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, the coordination regulations signed today need to be implemented with specific, practical and effective actions. The two agencies will continue to strengthen information sharing, coordinate propaganda, inspection, supervision, and dialogue with businesses; promptly detect and handle cases of violations of insurance laws. At the same time, proactively remove difficulties and obstacles right from the grassroots level, not allowing the rights of workers to be affected.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan - Director of Can Tho City Social Insurance clearly stated that the signed coordination regulations for the period 2026 - 2028 are of practical significance, creating a basis for the two agencies to continue to coordinate closely, proactively, practically and more effectively in the coming time.
To ensure that the Coordination Regulations after signing truly go into life, the Director of Can Tho City Social Insurance proposed that relevant units urgently concretize the contents of the regulations with practical, focused, and key coordination programs and plans; clearly define the content of work, responsibilities of each agency and unit, implementation time and results to be achieved.
Strengthen coordination to organize dialogue, consulting, and direct propaganda conferences at enterprises, industrial parks, export processing zones, and industrial clusters, where there are many workers and laborers; at the same time, effectively exploit digital platforms, social networks and information systems of trade union organizations and social insurance agencies to bring policies closer to people and workers.
