At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union of Indian Ocean One Member Limited Liability Company announced the Decision to admit 316 workers into the Trade Union organization. Thereby, raising the total number of Trade Union members of the company to over 1,500 people, reaching a gathering rate of 66.7% compared to the total number of workers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - requested that businesses continue to create conditions for grassroots trade unions to operate effectively; grassroots trade unions innovate the content and methods of operation, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers, and strive to mobilize 100% of workers who meet the conditions to join the Trade Union organization.
At the same time, wishing new union members to actively compete in labor, improve their skills, and contribute to sustainable business development.

According to the report, in the first 6 months of the year of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, the decision adjusted the names of 7 grassroots trade unions. Dissolved 16 grassroots trade unions. Newly established 11 grassroots trade unions and established 4 grassroots trade unions on the basis of dissolution, merger, and consolidation of 19 grassroots trade unions.
Developing 13,513 union members, reducing 8,670 union members, actually increasing 4,843 union members. Up to now, the City Labor Federation is managing 847 grassroots trade unions, 144,005 union members/169,963 workers.
