News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on January 26 said: The grassroots trade union of Branch 2 of TBS An Giang Joint Stock Company organized a delegation to visit and receive support for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Hien from January 2026 with a budget of 1 million VND/month.
This is an activity in response to the launch of the City Labor Federation on caring for and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the area, and at the same time expressing the spirit of "Gratitude".
Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Hien was born in 1920, residing in Cam Tay village, Son Cam Ha commune. The mother has a husband, martyr Nguyen Than, and 1 child, martyr Nguyen Viet Loc. The mother was awarded the State honorary title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother according to Decision No. 1224/QD-CTN dated June 5, 2014.
The grassroots trade union Branch 2 of TBS An Giang Joint Stock Company is 1 of 38 grassroots trade unions directly under the Da Nang City Labor Federation registered to receive support for 44 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
The activity of caring for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers not only contributes to caring for the material and spiritual life of Mothers, but is also a work with profound humanistic meaning, contributing to educating patriotism and gratitude to the previous generation among union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers.
