On the afternoon of May 27, the Trade Union of Hong An ward (Hai Phong city) organized a Conference to sign an emulation agreement for the grassroots Trade Union emulation block; awarded decisions to newly established grassroots trade unions; and awarded allowances to union members and workers on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the City Labor Federation, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation, signed Decision No. 432 establishing 3 Emulation Blocks for grassroots trade unions and assigned the Hong An Ward Trade Union to monitor and manage.
The Ward Trade Union has submitted a draft, collected opinions and summarized opinions from units in the grassroots Trade Union emulation block on the content of signing the 2026 emulation agreement.
At the Conference, grassroots trade unions representing emulation blocks No. 01, 02, 03 signed the emulation agreement for 2026.
Immediately after the signing of the 2026 emulation agreement, the Conference announced the admission of union members and the establishment of grassroots trade unions.
Implementing the annual work program, in the first 5 months of the year, the Hong An Ward Trade Union actively propagated and mobilized the establishment of 6 new grassroots trade unions with 207 union members.
At today's Conference, the Ward Trade Union organized the awarding of decisions to establish the grassroots trade union of Long Bao Joint Stock Company and Tien Cuong Trading and Transportation Investment Co., Ltd.
Implementing care for union members and workers, in the past time, trade union levels have always actively paid attention to deploying practical activities to care for union members and workers, regularly grasping information, and promptly encouraging union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses.
On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation awarded 30 allowances worth 30 million VND to 30 union members and workers in Hong An ward.
At the Conference, representatives of union members and workers came to receive gifts from the City Labor Federation.
