Hai Phong - On May 20, Hai Phong City Labor Federation organized a send-off ceremony for the football team participating in the 2026 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.

At the launching ceremony, the delegation of Hai Phong City Labor Federation and the entire team offered incense at the Statue of General Le Chan (Le Chan ward) and the Memorial House of Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh (An Hai ward).

The 2026 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament organized by the VGCL is an activity towards celebrating the 14th National Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031. The tournament creates a healthy playground, strengthens exchanges, and physical training, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity and aspiration to contribute of the team of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the new development stage of the country.

The Northern regional qualifying round takes place from May 21-24 in Hanoi with 24 participating teams. To make the team best prepared, the Trade Union Working Committee of Hai Phong City Labor Federation has developed a plan to take care of training conditions, health, physical strength and spirit for athletes, helping the whole team be ready to enter important matches in the coming days.

Representatives of the leaders of Hai Phong City Labor Federation hope that the whole team will promote the spirit of solidarity, compete with high determination, dedicate beautiful plays, show beautiful play and strive to achieve good results in the qualifying round to aim for the final round.
