Workers' Month 2026 at Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd. takes place in the context of the enterprise maintaining stable production, ensuring jobs for more than 1,300 workers.
With a union member rate of over 99%, the grassroots Trade Union has organized many practical care activities. During Workers' Month, the trade union allocated more than 134 million VND to support and give gifts to union members and workers; of which more than 13 million VND was for visiting and inquiring about critical illnesses and difficult circumstances.
In parallel with care activities, the Trade Union also focuses on protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers through dialogues, supervision and legal advice. The Trade Union has organized 11 thematic supervisions related to salary regimes, meals, working hours, and labor protection equipment; and at the same time provided legal advice to more than 200 turns of workers. Occupational safety and hygiene is also emphasized. The Trade Union coordinates with businesses to maintain a network of 24 occupational safety and hygiene workers, organizes inspections in high-risk areas and promotes propaganda on labor accident prevention.
Mr. Luu Duc Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd. affirmed: "We determine that all activities of the Trade Union must originate from the actual needs of workers. Workers' Month is not only an opportunity to organize movements but more importantly to bring practical benefits, helping union members clearly feel the companionship of the Trade Union organization in work and life.
In addition to care work, this year's Workers' Month also marked by many vibrant movement activities, creating a competitive atmosphere throughout the enterprise. The most prominent is the UACV Cup 2026 Trade Union Football Tournament with the participation of 14 joint football teams from departments and divisions and more than 200 athletes who are union members and workers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh - a worker in the company's production department, shared: "The thing I feel most clearly is that the Trade Union is always close to employees. From sports activities, caring for life to listening to the thoughts and recommendations of workers are all carried out very seriously. Thanks to that, we feel secure in working and more attached to the business.
