On November 27, the Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that the unit had just provided support to female union member T.T.T.V (born in 2002, from Ca Mau).
According to the company's Trade Union, Ms. T.T.T.V has been working at the company's factory in My Phuoc Industrial Park, Ben Cat Ward for 2 years. Recently, Ms. T.T.T.V unfortunately suffered a stroke and had to have surgery to remove a blood clot in her brain.
The Trade Union said that while in the rented room, Ms. T.T.T.V felt dizzy, unable to breathe, and tired. When she was taken to the hospital, the doctor diagnosed her with a stroke due to cerebral hemorrhage.
The sequelae left the left hand and foot unable to move normally. Because the treatment process was still quite long in the future, the hospital in Ho Chi Minh City transferred Ms. T.T.T.V to Ca Mau Hospital for further treatment after having surgery on the skull.
The increased cost of treatment has caused many difficulties for the family. Faced with the female worker's situation, the Executive Board of the Trade Union mobilized all companies to join hands to support. After a period of calling, the Trade Union has raised the amount of 188 million VND.
The company's Trade Union went to Ca Mau to hand over the support money to Ms. T.T.T.V. The Trade Union and the entire company hope that Ms. T.T.T.V will continue to strive for treatment and recover soon to return to work at the company.
According to records, the factories of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. have about 11,000 workers. Every time there are cases of workers who are unfortunate and have serious illnesses, the Trade Union has mobilized support. On average, each case in particularly difficult circumstances is supported with about 200 million VND.
