On August 22, a delegation of key trade union officials nationwide led by Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Nguyen Xuan Hung visited the factory and exchanged trade union activities at TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Dong Nai City).

Reporting to the working delegation, Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc - Chairman of the company's Trade Union - said that TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company is a 100% Korean-invested enterprise with more than 34,000 employees, specializing in producing leather shoes for famous brands in the world. In recent years, labor relations at the enterprise have been stable, employees are competing in labor, accompanying business development.
Trade unions promote their role in negotiating and negotiating many policies that benefit workers and include them in collective labor agreements. Specifically, such as: annual salary increases, holiday and Tet bonuses, travel allowances, housing allowances, seniority allowances and gifts on holidays. The company equips milk pumping rooms and supports child support for workers. Disabled workers are reduced by 1 working hour/day; the company pays attention to vocational training, opens many foreign language classes and supplements culture for workers and rewards workers with many initiatives...

Every year, the Trade Union and the company organize sports and cultural activities to improve the spiritual life of workers. The company also has supermarkets to serve the shopping needs with stable prices for workers.
Speaking at the working session, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung highly appreciated the Trade Union operating model at TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, especially the effective coordination between the business leadership and the grassroots Trade Union in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
In addition, income, jobs and workers' lives are concerned; collective labor agreements with many new, progressive, higher and more beneficial contents for workers compared to the minimum regulations of law. This shows the proactive role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for and protecting workers.
