The Trade Union of Aurora Vietnam Shoe Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 2007, currently creating jobs for more than 3,700 workers, 100% of workers in the enterprise participate in the Trade Union organization.
Reporting on the process of implementing the socialist grassroots trade union model, Ms. Dong Thi Phuong, Chairwoman of the Company's Trade Union, said: "The Company's Trade Union has many advantages in implementing the model when it has nearly 20 years of construction and development, a team of experienced trade union officials, employees who trust the Trade Union organization and receive support and conditions from business leaders".
Over the past time, the Company's Trade Union has focused on performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of employees. In the first 6 months of 2026, the average income of employees at the enterprise reached about 10 million VND/person. Employees are fully insured according to regulations, and businesses fully and on schedule pay insurance. The Trade Union also maintains periodic dialogues every 3 months, and organizes annual employee conferences. Employee recommendations and complaints are received and resolved according to procedures, contributing to maintaining harmonious and stable labor relations, and for many years there have been no disputes or strikes...
The self-review results according to the criteria of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model, the Trade Union of Aurora Vietnam Shoe Industry Co., Ltd. achieved 94/100 points, of which the group of caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers achieved 33.5/35 points; the group of improving cultural and spiritual life achieved 15.5/20 points; the group of organizing emulation movements achieved 20/20 points and the group of participating in building a strong Party, government, and Trade Union organization achieved 25/25 points.
In the period 2026-2030, the Company's Trade Union determines to continue to improve the effectiveness of representation, dialogue, and negotiation; care for and protect the rights of workers; improve the cultural, spiritual, level and skills of union members; maintain emulation movements and build a strong Trade Union organization. In which, the Trade Union strives to improve the quality of collective labor agreements, towards ranking A; maintain activities to support union members in difficult circumstances; organize at least 2 sports activities each year and build and maintain half-time exercises.
The implementation of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model is identified by the Company's Trade Union as a driving force for innovating the content and methods of operation, improving the quality of care and protection for workers, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations and promoting sustainable business development.
Also at the model launching ceremony, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation presented 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND; The Trade Union of Aurora Shoe Industry Co., Ltd. presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
