In recent years, the Trade Union of Lao Cai Lottery Company Limited has promoted its representative role, being a bridge connecting employees with businesses.

As a state-owned enterprise operating in a special field, Lao Cai Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. not only contributes significantly to the budget and socio-economic development of Lao Cai province, but is also one of the typical units in the emulation movement and trade union activities.

Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Deputy Director and Chairman of the Trade Union, said: We always consider workers as a valuable asset of the enterprise. All policies and benefits are aimed at their long-term satisfaction and attachment".

Thanks to the attention of the company's leaders and the sense of responsibility of the trade union, the lives of workers have been increasingly improved. Currently, the whole company has 38 union members, with an average income of 18 million VND/person/month - a stable level and belonging to the high group of state-owned enterprises in the area.

Not only ensuring full benefits according to the law, the trade union also proactively coordinates to develop regulations on working and resting hours; organizes periodic health check-ups, supports medical examination costs, organizes workers to visit, relax, and practice sports.

The company has done a good job of gender equality in recruitment, training, salary payment, and rewards. For 21 female union members, all maternity benefits, working hours, and health care are guaranteed. Many women actively study, improve their professional qualifications, and affirm their role in work and family.

Every year, the Trade Union organizes meaningful activities such as meetings and giving gifts on March 8, October 20, union members' birthdays, Mid-Autumn Festival, Children's Festival 1.6; rewarding children with high academic achievements, visiting relatives of elderly workers, supporting sick union members.

In particular, the company spends over 250 million VND/year on charity activities, supporting people affected by natural disasters inside and outside the province; 40 million VND/year for periodic health check-ups; 730,000 VND/person/month for mid-shift meals; purchasing life insurance, occupational accident insurance worth 197 million VND for all employees; supporting childcare for children under 60 months old.

In addition, the union also actively deploys Tet gifts for policy families, sponsors poor students to overcome difficulties, supports communes to build new rural areas... with a total budget of more than 500 million VND per year.
