Due to the impact of the storm's circulation, many areas in Lao Cai and surrounding areas were flooded, causing heavy property damage.
At Yen Bai Vocational College alone, there are 19 families of cadres, lecturers, civil servants, workers and about 30 families of students affected.
Many houses, tools, and means of transport were damaged, fortunately there were no casualties.
Faced with that difficulty, the school's Trade Union quickly deployed support and visits.

Immediately after the water receded, the working group led by Ms. Do Thi Thanh Thuy - Vice Principal, President of the Trade Union - directly visited 9 families of union members who suffered heavy losses, gave gifts of encouragement, and shared difficulties.
Although small, the gifts contained affection, becoming a spiritual support for union members in times of trouble.
In parallel with the work of overcoming the consequences of the storm, the grassroots trade union also organizes the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival in a simple, economical but meaningful atmosphere. 265 children of cadres, civil servants and workers received Mid-Autumn Festival gifts with a total cost of more than 26.5 million VND.
In addition, the Trade Union coordinated with the Association for Promoting Education to award more than 10.6 million VND to 25 university graduates and 26 students with high academic achievements in provincial, national and regional exams.
Practical and timely activities not only demonstrate the responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of union members and families, but also spread the spirit of compassion and solidarity in the school community.
With the motto of accompanying both in work and life, the Yen Bai Vocational College Trade Union continues to affirm its role as a "solid support" for workers, contributing to building internal solidarity and completing the political tasks of the unit.
In order to share the difficulties with households affected by storm No. 10, the Mau A Commune Labor Union organized visits and presented gifts to two families severely affected in the commune.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Dang Van Kien, An Hoa village, and the family of Mr. Nguyen Duy Vu, Cau Khai village.
Both households were deeply flooded, causing damage to property and crops; Mr. Nguyen Duy Vu's family also suffered a landslide behind the house, making it impossible to live on the spot.

Each family was given a gift worth 300,000 VND and 10kg of rice, from the mobilization fund of the Trade Union, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the commune.
The activity demonstrates the spirit of mutual love, care and sharing of the Trade Union organization with the people in times of difficulties and disasters.
At the same time, it contributes to encouraging households to promptly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives, spread the spirit of solidarity and community responsibility in the whole commune.
