Da Nang - City Labor Federation Focus resources on Tet care with the goal "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet".

22,000 union members and workers receive gifts

Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Chairwoman of Da Nang City Labor Federation said: Tet care work in 2026 continues to be implemented according to the motto "where there are union members in difficulty, there are Trade Unions".

The focus is on familiar programs but have been expanded in scale and beneficiaries such as: Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party, Trade Union Tet Market, Trade Union Tet Journey, accompanying union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

In the program to accompany union members in difficult circumstances, it is expected that 22,000 union members and workers will be visited and given gifts with a support level of 1 million VND/person, deducted from trade union financial resources.

Beneficiaries include low-income workers; victims of labor accidents, occupational diseases; suffering from dangerous diseases; affected by natural disasters, storms and floods; working hours reduced, job loss; workers belonging to policy families; workers who have not had the opportunity to return home for Tet or stay to work during Tet for many years.

In addition, about 1,000 workers living in self-managed worker groups in boarding houses, single workers, and workers residing in workers' houses in Hoa Cam industrial park will also receive Tet gifts, thereby contributing to sharing difficulties and encouraging the spirit so that workers can feel secure in sticking with the business.

Allocate 50,000 shopping vouchers

A meaningful highlight in the series of Tet care activities is the Trade Union Tet Journey with the Trade Union Bus - Spring 2026 and Trade Union Train - Spring 2026 programs.

According to the plan, the City Trade Union will support 2,000 train tickets for union members and workers during this Tet holiday; Trade Union bus trips are organized based on actual registration needs from the grassroots level.

The program's priorities are union members in difficult circumstances, workers who have not been able to return to their hometowns for Tet for many years. In particular, the program reserves train and bus tickets for the entire union member family, so that husband and wife and children can return to their hometowns on a trip, creating a more complete and warmer Tet.

The Trade Union Tet journey is expected to take place from December 24 to 29, ensuring safety and convenience, contributing to reducing traffic pressure and travel costs for workers far from home.

In parallel with that, Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party and the Trade Union Tet Market continue to be emotional rendezvous points for union members and workers. The series of activities includes: opening of the 2026 Trade Union Tet Market; discount and preferential booths; legal advice; giving Tet gifts, train tickets, bus tickets; organizing fun activities, prize-winning games, creating a bustling and warm atmosphere before the New Year.

This year, the program is of special significance as it is the first Tet season organized after the merger of the Da Nang City Labor Federation and Quang Nam province (old). To ensure that all union members benefit, the program is organized at two locations: Ban Thach ward and Hoa Khanh ward.

The City Labor Federation has allocated 50,000 shopping vouchers, each voucher worth 100,000 VND, helping union members shop for Tet with more economical costs.

Not only relying on city-level activities, the City Labor Federation also directs grassroots trade unions to proactively develop Tet care plans at their units; mobilize businesses to participate in giving gifts, organizing shuttle buses, and supporting train tickets for workers to return to their hometowns.

A noteworthy new point during Tet 2026 is the organization of the Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal at many businesses. This activity inherits the positive results from the Trade Union Meal program in the past, creating space for workers, trade union organizations, employers and local authorities to share, connect, nurture trust and long-term companionship.

With methodical preparation, focused resources and increasingly substantive approaches, it is believed that Spring Binh Ngo 2026 will not only be a "full" Tet, but will be a happier, warmer and more complete Tet for union members and workers throughout the city.
