Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union launched the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the period 2026-2031, aiming to build a team of skilled workers, master technology, improve labor productivity and improve income.
The movement was deployed to all levels of Trade Unions, officials, union members, workers (TUs, NLĐ), and agencies, units, and businesses in the area.
The goal is to arouse the spirit of creative labor, overcoming difficulties, promoting the application of science and technology and digital transformation, contributing to improving the quality of human resources and implementing the province's double-digit growth target.
In the "Good Labor" content group, the Provincial Trade Union sets a target of 100% of Trade Union officials and union members in the non-business unit sector and at least 65% of union members and workers in the business sector being trained and fostered to improve their professional qualifications, professional skills and digital skills. At least 75% of workers in enterprises are equipped with digital technology knowledge and use smart devices to serve their work.
In the period 2026-2031, units will organize or participate in skills competitions, skilled workers competitions at all levels; every year workers and employees are commended and rewarded for labor achievements.
With the content "Improving labor productivity", each year strive to have at least 3,500 initiatives proposed and applied in practice, of which 8 or more initiatives are awarded the Creative Labor Medal.
The profit value from initiatives in 2026 reaches a minimum of 175 billion VND and increases by 10-15% in the following years. Average labor productivity at units and enterprises participating in the movement increases by about 8.5% per year; at least 30% of employees exceed labor norms.
For "Emulating to improve income for employees", strive for 100% of grassroots trade unions to coordinate with the heads of agencies and units to evaluate the effectiveness of work associated with increased income from autonomous sources. The average income of employees increases corresponding to labor productivity and business results of enterprises, aiming for an increase of over 8% per year.
At the same time, expanding the rights of employees, with the goal that over 80% of enterprises signing collective labor agreements have clauses that are more beneficial to employees; at least 85% of union members and employees enjoy annual welfare programs. About 30% of union members and employees with effective initiatives will be rewarded commensurate with their profit value.
The results of the movement will be evaluated annually and summarized in 2031.
Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial VGCL - requested trade union levels to deploy the movement in a substantive direction, closely linked to the tasks of each agency, unit, enterprise and the work efficiency of employees.
Emulation contents must have specific goals, targets and evaluation criteria; and promptly discover, honor, and replicate advanced examples, typical initiatives and effective labor productivity improvement models.
