On the evening of July 10, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province said that they had directed Nguyen Thai Hoc High School No. 1 (Quy Nhon Nam ward) to verify and clarify information that a candidate was accused of signs of fraud in the 2026 high school graduation exam at the school's exam site.
Currently, the school is still verifying, there is no report on the incident," said the leader of the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Education and Training.
Previously, at noon on the same day, an account on the social network Threads posted information accusing candidate N.T. Tr, a 12A10 student of Nguyen Thai Hoc High School No. 1, of signs of fraud in the 2026 high school graduation exam.

According to the content of the article, this account said that the student took the exam at the exam site of Nguyen Thai Hoc High School No. 1; and at the same time accused candidate Tr. of secretly bringing a smartphone into the exam room to check the answers for the exam subjects.
This account also said that it cannot store evidence because it is in the exam room, but some candidates in the same room can testify; and at the same time requested the Ministry of Education and Training to get involved in verifying to ensure the fairness and transparency of the exam.
According to announced exam score data, candidate N.T. Tr achieved a total score of 26.75, including Math 9.75 points, Literature 7.5 points and English 9.5 points.
Reporters have repeatedly contacted Mr. Huynh Chau Phong - Principal of Nguyen Thai Hoc High School No. 1 - to verify information about the incident, but have not received a response.
Representatives of the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Education and Training said that the unit had grasped information reflected from social networks right at noon on July 10. Through initial exchange, Principal Huynh Chau Phong said that candidate N.T. Tr has quite good academic performance and is one of the outstanding students of the school.
