On November 20, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Trade Union of Vietnam Golden Shoes Co., Ltd. organized the 2nd Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030 with the participation and direction of Comrade Trinh Thi Hoa - Vice President of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor; representatives of relevant agencies and 152 outstanding delegates representing more than 12,800 union members and employees in the enterprise.
In recent years, with the attention of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the close coordination of business leaders, the Company's Trade Union has effectively implemented programs to care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers.
The Trade Union coordinates to organize annual Labor conferences, supervise law enforcement; participate in amending the Labor Regulations and Collective Labor Agreements in the direction of being more beneficial to employees; effectively implementing democratic regulations at the workplace.
The work of caring for union members' lives has been widely deployed: visiting nearly 5,000 workers with a total amount of nearly 1.5 billion VND, launching a support campaign for union members in difficulty and serious illnesses of nearly 400 million VND; organizing a "Summer Party" program of more than 600 million VND; coordinating to give 850 gifts to support people and workers affected by storm No. 10. The Provincial Trade Union Support Fund has been effectively implemented with a support level of nearly 1 billion VND.
In the 2023-2025 term, the Company's Trade Union will develop nearly 4,000 more union members; 100% of workers have signed official contracts to participate in the Trade Union organization. Emulation movements were widely launched, many collectives and individuals were commended by the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the Congress, delegates discussed solutions to improve the effectiveness of care and welfare, build harmonious and stable labor relations; innovate trade union activities; promote emulation, accompany businesses for sustainable development.
For the 2025-2030 term, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Company's Trade Union sets out 3 key programs: attracting and gathering union members; improving the quality of representation, protecting the rights of employees; strengthening the implementation of union member welfare programs.
In his speech, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Company's representatives acknowledged the achieved results and requested the Trade Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", "Good at public work - good at home work"; strengthen propaganda, fight against bad and toxic information; care to build a corporate culture, improve the spiritual and physical life of workers.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union, term II, 2025-2030, consisting of 21 comrades; elected 8 official delegates and 1 delegate on a deficiency to attend the 21st Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress.
